SOMETIMES I FIND IT HARD
• to believe there's someone else who could be •
JUST AS MESSED UP AS ME
The teacher lectured about the laws of physics, and what not. In the back of the classroom, Kisara wasn't quite paying attention and honestly she didn't quite care too. To her school wasn't that bad, it's just when you get the teachers who do nothing but lecture their classes the whole hour, it feels like a living hell. She mumbled a few words to herself, as she looked out the nearest window. She let out a sigh. It was such a nice day and yet she was cooped up in the classroom. Her blue eyes closed momentarily before opening as she rested her elbow on her desk, and let out a sigh, staring longingly out the window. She couldn't wait until this class was over, because at the given chance. She might just bolt outside. Who knows, or maybe she'd go to her next class a bit late, so she could go outside an enjoy the fresh air.
A yawn escaped from her as she looked around her classroom, and chuckled quietly under her breath. Their were some students struggling to keep awake, others who were already asleep, and others just as discontented with these class as she was. She felt eyes upon her, and her eyes looked and saw the teacher's upon her, giving her a warning look for her to be quiet. Softly she nodded, putting an innocent smile on her face. Wow, that teacher must have supersonic hearing to hear a low giggle like that. It made her wonder if the teacher was truly human. She shook her head, rolling her eyes, as she looked out the window knowing that must have been somewhat of the thinking about this teacher among most of the students.
She brushed a hand through her hair, and looked out the window again. It must have been great to be out there right now. Almost as if to ruin her moment, the teacher shouted at the class. About the importance of paying attention in class, and asking if they really cared to be in school, if they wanted to fail, and how privileged they all were to be sitting in a classroom such as this. Subconsciously, she rolled her eyes. She agreed with what the teacher was saying, but honestly did it have to be that boring? She would have loved to say that to the teacher, but knew it would do no good. It would only get her a ticket straight to the principal's office. That was really no fun.
She just wished this class would end, it was unbelievably boring to her. She pulled out her ipod, and plugged the headphones in, and started listening to Skillet's song "Would It Matter." She put the volume down low, but enough to wear it could blast in her ears without anyone else being able to hear it. At this point, she needed to drown out that teacher's rambling. To her this was just the way to do it.
